Torch Coolant 028872

Hypertherm Coolant 028872 is a specialized cooling fluid designed for use with Hypertherm plasma cutting systems. It is classified as non-hazardous under GHS/CLP/OSHA standards and delivers optimal performance for the integrated cooling systems of plasma power sources.

Main composition: Contains 25–50% Propylene Glycol (CAS 57‑55‑6), with the remainder being deionized water – forming a 70/30 PG mixture.

Function: Reduces the freezing point (protection down to +10 °F), prevents corrosion, and stabilizes the cooling system.

Hypertherm Coolant 028872 is included in the standard preventive maintenance kits for various Hypertherm systems (MAX, HPR, XPR…), with a recommended quantity of 4 gallons per 300-hour or 6-month maintenance cycle.
